I have noticed that there are a number of writers who signed up to write for VSOS III, who for whatever reason, never turned those stories in. So, what happens now? It has been nearly two years since the deadline passed. There are some new writers in the fandom. What is the possibility of reopening that unfinished challenge? It bothers me to see it incomplete.

How awesome would it be if we could revive the VSoS! :hyper: Please do spread the word. And if someone comes up with a second finished story for a particular episode, we'll post both of them! :D You can never have too much fic, you know. :yes:

did someone say "unfinished"? :blush: Guilty. I had every intention of finishing my assigned Walk-fic, but got stuck in both a writing and RL roadblock which both have lasted too long. :wall:

I just found one of my drafts the other day and now I have to decide whether or not I should keep it going. Maybe after not working on it for a while the story will unstick itself. But in the meantime, if someone else has a good idea for that ep, I say--have at it!!! I agree that there can never be too much smut. ;)

The Walk! We could have used that one at Connections this week! I kid not, there are NO stories for that episode! I looked everywhere and found bupkis. This is the first ep since we started the post-ep themes where we didn't have anything to post. Even Space had a couple! Bottom line, Val: you don't have to worry about repeating what someone else has already done with this episode. :lol:

The only idea I've got is "astral projection." See what you can do with that. :giggle:

I guess you'd PM Tali or one of the other admins, and they'd put it on the VSoS site. Then we can post a link here to let everyone know that it's up. :D But don't forget to post in your usual places, too. Ephemeral, Gossamer, any lists you belong to, whatever. It's all about spreading the smut love. :eyebrow:

Okay, but how would I do that? Is there a secret way of sending email to members that I don't know about? There are many things about this board that are still confusing to me. I am not at all technologically adept, I fear. Do you have a email address that is specific to Fandomonium, I guess is what I am asking, and how would I obtain it? Is there a directory?

I can understand why you are having trouble. This may be the episode with the least smut potential, not just for the third season, but perhaps for all nine. It is just not sexy, not at all.

Tali, since there is already a story for F. Emasculata, why not just call that season done. If someone wants to write a second one, great, but I don't think it is needed for the challenge to be considered completed.


Again, with Avatar part two, you already have a story for the episode. We don't need to be greedy.I suggest taking it off the incomplete list.

:giggle: I definitely looked at that angle, but I didn't want the story to end up being too similar to the one I did for "Sleepless," so I tried to come at it from a different direction. :sigh:

I agree with you, AVF. I think we just had two for each of those eps because two people signed up for them. It's been so long, I can't be sure about that, though. :lol: If I'm right, then I think it's a good idea to shorten the list by dropping the ones that already have a story. Maybe if we can clean up the rest of the list, Tali will let us start another season. :D

BTW, AVF, I just PM'd you with the email addie for sending the story to Tali.

Hi, I did finally finish the story I alluded to up thread and mailed it to the address you listed about two weeks ago. I didn't hear back so I emailed again. I just want to know if you received the story, if it met the criteria for submission and if I formatted it correctly. I have never submitted anything before anywhere, so I am uncertain if I did it right. I won't bother you again about this, I promise. Sorry to trouble.
